Romanian Wild Experience is the result of more than 20 years of field experience, a genuine passion for nature, and the ambition to offer wildlife experiences at the highest standards.

We are a team of guides, engineers and nature enthusiasts — people who know the mountains, follow the wildlife, and understand how important it is for every experience to be built with professionalism, patience and responsibility.

Over all these years we have learned that a quality wildlife experience is not simply about reaching a place where wild animals live. It is about knowing where to look, when to look, how to approach — and, above all, when to wait.

Knowledge of the terrain and of animal behaviour, the experience of our guides and the careful planning of every outing allow us to give our guests the best possible conditions to live authentic moments in nature.

Over time we have had the joy of hosting wildlife photographers from Romania and abroad, from enthusiasts at the very beginning of their journey to experienced photographers with impressive portfolios. For us, the fact that so many of them have chosen to come back is one of the most important confirmations of our work.

We do not aim to offer mass tours. We prefer small groups, where we can give attention to every participant and adapt the experience to the conditions in the field, the season and the activity of the wildlife.

The base of our experiences is Casa Samir, the place where we welcome those who come to discover the wild nature of the Carpathians. Here, the time spent in the field is completed by local hospitality, quiet, and the closeness of the region's traditions and gastronomy.

We organise experiences dedicated to the most spectacular moments in the life of Carpathian wildlife: the red deer rut, the capercaillie lek, bear watching, and encounters with other emblematic species of the Carpathians such as the wolf and the lynx.
